Romania: Arad

Newbold have long standing links with Christian charitable works in Romania. Networks works on the West side of Romania to try to alleviate poverty, and enable transformation in individuals and communities by meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs. They also run a missions training programme, where people come from all over the world to train in the mission field.

Over many years, Newbold have sent teams to assist with practical helps such as building, cleaning and helping to run events. Teaching teams have also been invited over to speak to the mission students. A member of the church has just returned to the UK after spending 14 years working with Networks.

Romania: Iasi

Newbold also has strong links with churches and Christian organisations in Iasi is on the East side of Romania. Teams and individuals from Newbold have travelled many times to be involved in street evangelism, children’s summer camps, teaching in churches and work in orphanages and transition homes. Many have become dear friends and are part of our international body of Christ.

China

Our friends in China work in their local community to engage those who don’t fit easily into society. They have involvement with some individuals with mental health needs and have recently initiated an art class for the elderly. Their university studies include analysing the identifying marginalised sections of their community. This confirms a profound need for the services they bring. Newbold continues to stand with this young family as the projects they involved with continue to progress and new opportunities are created.
